Mediopolis, 10 in the evening.
As the night deepened, the moon became enchanting.
Emilia Roberts woke up from a hangover, her head suffering from a terrible headache. Glancing around the room, she realized she was in the hotel's double suite where she often stayed.
Today was the celebration banquet of her stepsister, Alexa Roberts, after winning the city-level jewelry competition. She hadn't expected to be so drunk after just having two drinks.
She sat up and heard faint voices coming from the adjacent room. Curious, she got off the bed and walked toward the door.
The door of the adjoining suite was slightly ajar, and as Emilia was about to push it open, she caught a glimpse of what was happening inside, and she froze in disbelief as she was not prepared for what she will see on the other side of the door.
A woman, with her bare back facing her, is seen sitting on top of her boyfriend, Clark Joseph. The two of them were engaged in intense, raunchy movements, breathing heavily. It was a shocking scene that left Emilia petrified as if she had been struck by lightning.
"Clark, am I good enough? Tell me I am good enough." The woman spoke to Clark seductively as she grinds herself to him.
"You're amazing! Absolutely amazing!" Clark crudely replied, panting heavily.
The woman's voice, she knew who it was from. Oh, she knew it very well.
It was her stepsister, Alexa!
"Since I'm so good, how about you give me that new design you just drafted, Emilia's work? Can you do that for me?" Alexa asked, charming Clark in the process.
Clark teasingly pinched her. "You little vixen, always thinking of how to squeeze everything out of me. Squeezing everything out of my cock isn't enough; you want to squeeze out all my resources too!"
Alexa giggled. "Well, that's because I love you! Come on, tell me, will you give it to me or not?" She spoke, her voice coquettish.
"I'll give it to you, I'll give it all to you!" Clark Joseph indulgently laughed, "EVen you want my life, and I'll give it to you!"
"You promised me before that you'd marry me. How about we get married soon? What do you say?" Alexa sat on Clark Joseph, taking advantage of the situation to make further demands.
Clark hesitated for a while, a rare sight to be seen. "All those award-winning designs you had before were actually stolen from Emilia. If we suddenly get married, she won't willingly hand over her designs to you! Those resources are too valuable to waste!"
Alexa pouted in discontent. "No way! I just want to marry you. Besides, what you're worrying about isn't a problem at all. My dad already knows we're together, and he's discussing a marriage alliance between her and the Swinton family's second young master!"
Clark caressed Alexa's round shoulders. "But what if she doesn't agree?"
Alexa hesitated for a moment and then sneered at the thought. "How is that possible? If she doesn't agree, my dad has plenty of ways to make her uncle's company go bankrupt! If you're really worried that she'll find out, we can have a secret wedding. How about that?"
"Alright, alright! I promise you!" Clark couldn't resist Alexa's requests laced in her sweet voice.
Alexa immediately leaned down and gave Clark a kiss. "Oh darling, I knew it! You're the best! Tomorrow is a good day. Let's go get our marriage certificate tomorrow, okay?" She mused happily.
The woman's arm wrapped around the man's neck softly, leaving him defenseless. He smiled and nodded, "Sure!"
The two then kissed and entangled passionately in each other's arms once more.
Emilia, who witnessed everything by standing at the door, was already in tears. She had been dating Clark for two years and had always looked forward to a future with him, with marriage in mind.
During their relationship, Clark kept giving her design drafts to Alexa, claiming that he was there to protect her and that since Alexa had no boyfriend, they should help her more in her career.
She was hopelessly in love, always falling to Clark's words, unable to bring herself to refuse anything he asked for as soon as he opened that damned mouth of his.
But she never imagined that being with him was only to get her design drafts.
Even the piece Alexa was using to enter the city-level jewelry competition this time was drawn by her.
Growing up with a natural talent for jewelry design, her casually drawn drafts could easily win awards, something that was beyond most people's reach.
Every time she gave Alexa a design draft, she would console her hurting self.
It's okay, you're still young.
It's okay, you still have the ability to come up with even better designs.
But she never thought that her talent, in Clark's eyes, was just a resource to help Alexa.
What was even more unbelievable was that her father, who had known about their affair early on, had been helping them in hiding it. He even wanted to marry her off to the Swinton family's second young master!
Didn't he know what kind of notorious person he was?
But even so, she couldn't just abandon her uncle.
Her mother had passed away long ago, and her uncle was the only family she had now!
